Dawn Launch Educator Conference June 28-30!

Visit Cape Canaveral, see the Dawn spacecraft launch, and discover a host of exciting educational activities to spark students’ interest in space science. Conference participants receive:
    • Behind-the-scenes bus tour of Kennedy Space Center
    • Sessions featuring Dawn mission and science team members
    • Curriculum materials and workshop
    • Lunch and snack on Friday, June 29
    • Access to NASA Kennedy Space Center Education Resource Center

(Participants arrange own transportation to center)
Activities include:
 • KSC Visitor Center Tour
 • Interactive Educational    Technologies (Focusing on    meteorites, cratering, and ion    propulsion)
 • Hands-on learning
 • IMAX Show
 • Launch Viewing (Board buses from    the Educator Resource Center)

Please note:
   •  Events are for educator conference participants only; we cannot accommodate family  members or friends.
   •  The launch viewing date is subject to change. You are encouraged to complete registration (including the $60        conference payment), and make your hotel and travel arrangements.
   •  You will be updated about the confirmed launch conference dates via e-mail; please check your e-mail on a daily basis.

Cost: $60 for conference (Note: Participants are responsible for their own expenses, including air transportation, hotel accommodations, and car rentals.)
